Are the FM research scouts that great ?

over the years virtually unknown players are great in fm and in a few years become great in real life,
what wonderkids have you bought when they were unknowns and now they are big names in football ?
and what players were great in fm but never lived up to the hype in real life ?

tevez was a great wonderkid when he played for boca in the game and hes turned out to be world class
daniel braathen was also a great wonderkid in cm03/04 but he never became the great player fm had promised lol he joined bolton and didnt do very well

Yes, they are good scouting teams. Braaten is doing very well at Toulouse this season. Just because a player has a bad spell at one club doesnt mean they are poor, or cannot cut it. you look back in the games, and 90% of the players who are wonderkids have gone on to represent their nation.

I feel that the scouting team for fm do wonders with making predictions on who will be a wonderkid etc but maybe slightly over-exaggerate some old players stats and under-rate players such as Eduardo with their stats, but overall I feel that the wonderkid scouts are pretty good
