an emotional day in the north east as a 15 year long hartlepool season ticket holder mike simpson has left his regular roots.


simpson has brought this attention to himself by accepting the managirial vacancy at hartlepools fierce rivals darlington.



it is known friends and family a like will turn there back on simpson and will find it hard in his new surroundings.

there was no more transfer action down at the darlington arena as i was happy with the squad we had and thought they could easily achieve a play off spot at least.

a decent start the the season a few positives to take aswell as negatives 4 straight 1-1 draws isnt good enough but the positives from it are we took the lead in evry one of those games.we are aswell still unbeaten in the league.
